![]() Luckily, despite everything, Trent sticks up for her in that moment and they move on from their relationship as friends - a surprisingly mature move to make in a show like this. But she had plenty of funny moments, namely stuff like clobbering Harold with a shovel (I headcanon that's when Duncan started getting feelings for her) and ranting about working at a petting zoo in the past: "Somebody, IE me, had to shovel up the less adorable end of the digestive process." She also has her moments where I feel bad for her, be it catching a cold in "3:10 to Crazytown" (she looked so sad and pitiable T_T), being manipulated and played by the Killer Grips in "The Chefshank Redemption" and hated by many TD viewers in "Forgive and For-Gwen". And to be honest there isn't NEARLY as much to talk about considering her early boot status. For better or for worse.her break-up with Trent DEFINITELY wasn't the show's finest moment, I'll tell you that much. She isn't quite as good in Action, y'know, diminishing returns and all that.but she still has a few memorable moments here and there. □□□□□□ Gwen overall is excellently-developed throughout season 1 (although she does have her flaws.namely her rant in the confessional at the start of the finale.), and she's easily one of the highlights of the season. And on the subject of Cody, I wanna give a round of applause to my girl Gwen for NOT clobbering Cody when he went and sniffed her hair like a perv. Hell, she even opens up to local simp Cody. She even begins to open up herself to friends, not just falling for Trent, but also making friends with LeShawna, Bridgette, DJ, Geoff (although she forgets about this in the finale.) and even OWEN, who's like 90% her opposite. However, at the end of the second part of the pilot, she decides to step up, "Yep, this camp pretty much still sucks.but now that I'm here, I guess I might as well actually try to win." From then on, Gwen becomes a challenge BEAST, winning the whole thing for her team in episodes like "The Big Sleep" and the legendary "Basic Straining", and achieving other minor victories in episodes like "Phobia Factor" and "Who Can You Trust?". She starts off extremely pessimistic and unwilling to be there, grumbling about how sucky things are (though she has a fair few reasons to complain, let's not mince words.) and generally being annoyed by people. While Owen made it to the finale on having friends and being skilled, Gwen made it there on sheer determination and the development of her character. Let's begin with Island, where she was definitely the one in the center focus of the whole season. God knows I like Gwen a lot, and I wanna do her justice here. That might help get my thoughts out on her easier, and help me come to an overall better conclusion. So listen up, here's the story, about a little girl that lives in a blue world.Īlright for this particular character I wanna talk her on a season-by-season basis. Today we discuss the goth girl of legend herself, and arguably the main protagonist of the whole first gen.Gwen. To quote Noah, "We knew this moment would come, we just didn't know when". Me, landing on this particular camper for this next discussion: □.Me, waking up: Ugh I don't feel well.might as well move on to the next random camper!.Output: Spoilers: Staci wins Season 6 Resources This applies to titles, posts, and comments.
